Chess intramurals continue this week with round three competition Thursday.  New players are welcome. See Mr. Matreci in the leadership center for details.

There will be a meeting for any student interested in joining the yearbook, Photo Club, or the Vianney News Network on Thursday during Encore in room 205.

The Tabletop and Roleplaying Game Club will meet Thursday after school at 3:00 pm in room 205.

JUNIORS:  SSP is still months away BUT if you are interested in completing your Social Service Project at a very limited number of hospitals in the St. Louis area, there is a REQUIRED meeting with Mrs. Mitchell & Mr.Becvar on Friday September 21 at ENCORE in Room 104. Check your Vianney email for more information.  

There will be a brief Pro-Life Club meeting for the first five minutes during Encore on Thursday.  All are welcome.

Attention juniors and seniors:  If you are taking the ACT course that starts today, it will be from 4:30 - 7:45pm in Mr. Kheriaty’s chemistry classroom.  You will need to bring your calculator and some pencils.

Griffin Theatre will hold auditions this evening for 1776 at 7pm in room 503. No previous experience is required. For more information see Mr. Book.

The Freshman Black Soccer Team tied DeSmet yesterday 1-1.  Dan Powers scored the goal for the Griffins.

The Freshman Gold Soccer Team defeated Seckman yesterday by the score of 3-0.  Jack Blumfelder scored 2 goals and Jonathan Davis added a goal. Will Picha recorded the shutout in goal.  It was a fine team victory.

The guidance department would like to send a special thank you to the Ambassadors, NHS members, and Mr. Saali’s Spanish Class for helping organize and set up for the College Fair last night. The guidance department received dozens of compliments from colleges across the country on how polite and helpful you all were. Way to be Men of Character and Accomplishment!!
