Chess Intramurals Practice And Competition Begin This Week.  Practices Are Scheduled From 2:50 To 4:30 Tuesday And Wednesday With Competition Thursday With Check In By 2:50 In Room 500. Those Who Have Not Registered May Do So With Mr. Matreci In  Room 500 Either During Encore Or After Classes.

Attention juniors and seniors:  If you are taking the ACT prep course, it begins today.  You will need to bring your calculator and something to write with.  If you haven’t signed up yet and still want to attend, there are still spots in the 6pm course.  The 3:15pm course is full.  See Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information.

There will be a meeting for all sophomore, juniors and seniors who are interested in trying out for baseball next Monday, September 25 during Encore.  That meeting will be held in the Activity Center.  Freshmen, your meeting will be held on Thursday.

ATTENTION ALL National Honor Society Members: The Academic Tournament of Champions is three weeks away and we must be prepared.  Training for this event will take place EVERY Encore period and AFTER school.  Be sure to attend at least TWO.  We will meet in ROOM 302.

All senior Eucharistic ministers should pick up your schedule from Fr. Tim sometime today.

All clubs should let Fr. Tim or Mr Remiger know who is representing your club in the Offertory of the Mass tomorrow

The soccer team defeated O’Fallon 1-0 in the first round of the CYC Tournament.  Steven Bibas scored the goal, Eric Mastis got the assist, & Noah Hartenstein had the shutout in goal.  The soccer team plays Howell Central tonight @ the Soccer Park @ 7:45pm

Brendan Flynn led early, later Sam Moore won the Lt Dan Riordan Memorial cross country run. Christopher Joseph and Brendan finished in the top 5 to lead Griffin Harriers to a team victory.
