MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 24:

SENIORS:  If you intend to apply for the A+ Program scholarships, you MUST turn in your completed Participation Agreement to Mr. Matreci by Thursday this week.  If you need a form, they are available on our website or in the Leadership Center. If you have questions, Mr. Matreci can answer them.

Freshman: You have a very brief, but very mandatory meeting in the Field House today during encore.

The next Fall Athletic Apostles meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 3 at 8:15 a.m. in room PE5.

The varsity soccer team defeated Chaminade over the weekend in penalty kicks. After a scoreless 100 minutes of soccer, the Griffins won 3-2 in PKs with goals by Marty Thomas, Jack White, & Jacob Sansone. Kyle Diffley gets the shutout in goal. The varsity soccer team competes in the CYC Tournament at Soccer Park this week with a 6:00 game today vs Kirkwood

Play chess at encore today in room 209.  Chess intramurals continue this week with round 4 competition Thursday.  New players are welcome. See Mr. Matreci in the leadership center for details.

In cross country news: Last Friday on the flat and fast Arnold City Park course, Christopher Joseph once again was the lead dog for the varsity team, Alec Poulsen led the JV and Calvin Curran earned the bronze medal in the freshman race.  The Griffs have some time off now before the MCC Championships next Thursday.

Juniors, please come to the commons during Encore today to pick up your student ID.  If there is an error on your ID, please let us know when you pick it up. Only Juniors should be in the commons during Encore.

JUNIORS:  SSP is still months away BUT if you are interested in completing your Social Service Project by participating on the international service trip to San Salvador, El Salvador, there is a REQUIRED meeting with Mrs. Mitchell & Mr. Becvar TOMORROW, Tuesday, Sept. 25 at ENCORE in Room 104.  Any junior student is welcome to attend tomorrow’s meeting.
