VIANNEY TO HOST BEST-SELLING AUTHOR AND BRAIN-BASED RESEARCH EXPERT

MICHAEL GURIAN FOR SEPTEMBER 27TH FOR THE 6th ANNUAL

SPEAKERS SERIES EVENT AT VIANNEY

Gurian InstituteVianney will host a special Speakers Series Event on September 27th, 2013 with Michael Gurian, a New York Times best-selling author and expert in brain-based research and gender-specific teaching strategies.

Gurian is the founder of the Colorado Springs, Colorado-based Gurian Institute. The institute conducts research internationally, launches pilot programs and trains education professionals. As a social philosopher and family counselor, Michael has pioneered efforts to bring neuro-biology and brain research into homes, schools, corporations, and public policy. A number of his books have sparked national debate, including:

  • The Wonder of Girls 
  • Boys and Girls Learn Differently 
  • Leadership and the Sexes


Gurian will speak to a group of 500 educators from St. Louis Archdiocesan grade schools for Vianney’s 6th Annual Speakers Series.
