The Ping Pong Club will not meet this week.

On Thursday, September 29 following the Varsity Soccer game against Lindbergh, Chili's is once again contributing 15% of all checks toward our senior lock-in when the special coupon  is presented to the server.  Go before or after the game, enjoy great food and help a great cause in the process.  Coupons are available from Mrs. Hackett & Mr.  Matreci at school and will be available at the ticket gate at the game that night.  Thank you for supporting our substance-free graduation celebration!

Come to room 109 this morning during Encore to learn more about Generation LIFE, the pilgrimage to Washington, DC to stand up for Life. Accepting applications starting today. Chess Intramurals continue this week.  Practices are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday after school in room 109.  Round two competition is scheduled for Thursday after school.  New players are welcome.

Attention Letterman’s Club members:  The inaugural meeting meeting of the Letterman’s Club will be this Thursday in Room 305 during Encore.  Nominations for officers will be accepted at this meeting.  Please stop by room 305 or room 408 and get on the Club’s “Remind’ list to keep abreast of upcoming meetings and events.

The Freshman Soccer Team defeated Lindbergh last night by the score of 2 - 1. Jordon Celeslie and David Krobath both scored!

The Swim Team lost to CBC, yesterday,  by a score of 116-52.  The team's only winner was Jake Gauvain who took first in both the 50 and 500 Free while Paul Hoffman won the 100 Free.  This Saturday, the Griffins travel to Cape Girardeau for the Cape Rock Invitational.

For those of you who live in the Hillsboro area and are looking for some good cross country action, the Griffs will be competing today at and near the high school in their Invitational.  Racing begins at 4:00 pm.

The BBQ Club will meet in the Cafe Wednesday morning at 8:30am.  Topics include leadership, outing ideas and bacon.  Be there!

Scholar Bowl team - please stop by room 302 ASAP to sign up for league play.  Our first match-up is right around the corner in October.  Any questions, see Mr. Sargent.

National Honor Society Members:  This is a BIG week for us as we prepare for the Academic Decathlon on Monday, October 3rd. Meetings are scheduled for TODAY during Encore in room 209 and again on Thursday (same time and place)!  Please be prompt and prepared to contribute!
