Tomorrow following the Varsity Soccer game against Lindbergh, Chili's is once again contributing 15% of all checks toward our senior lock-in when the special coupon  is presented to the server.  Go before or after the game, enjoy great food and help a great cause in the process.  Coupons are available from Mrs. Hackett & Mr.  Matreci at school and will be available at the ticket gate at the game that night.  Thank you for supporting our substance-free graduation celebration!

Chess Intramurals continue this week.  Practice is scheduled today after school in room 109.  Round two competition is scheduled for Thursday after school.  New players are welcome.

Attention Letterman’s Club members:  The inaugural meeting meeting of the Letterman’s Club will be this Thursday in Room 305 during Encore.  Nominations for officers will be accepted at this meeting.  Please stop by room 305 or room 408 and get on the Club’s “Remind’ list to keep abreast of upcoming meetings and events.

Scholar Bowl team - please stop by room 302 ASAP to sign up for league play.  Our first match-up is right around the corner in October.  Any questions, see Mr. Sargent.

National Honor Society Members:  This is a BIG week for us as we prepare for the Academic Decathlon on Monday, October 3rd. Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday (during Encore in room 209)!  Please be prompt and prepared to contribute!

Racquetball Players just a reminder that sign up forms are due Friday to Mr. Lewis in 310. If you were unable to attend the meeting last week please see Mr. Lewis before Friday.

Thursday Vianney Soccer and Football compete to bring honor and glory to Vianney. Help support the team by attending their games! To help get you excited Vianney STUCO has declared a BLACK & GOLD day for Thursday for all students!

Zach Layton earned a 6th place medal and Pat Trani a 15th place to pace the Griffin Harriers to a 3rd place team finish in Hillsboro.  Sophomore Christopher Joseph won the JV race, with Joe Mastis and Hans Mohr also earning medals leading their team to a 2nd place finish.  

Seniors, be sure to meet with your Griffin Game Governor today or tomorrow.  Friday during Encore is the Griffin Game Octathlon which will require 15 members of your team to compete in 8 different events, and on Monday, because of the early dismissal, we will have the the Mini Golf and Bowling competition at Concord Bowl starting at 112:30 pm.  you will need to have 3 golfers and 3 bowlers.  Both of those competitions are free and governors must give me the list of those competitors prior to the end of the day on Monday.

Thursday during encore ALL FRESHMAN are to report to the field house for a special meeting with Mr. Lewis. This meeting will only take half of the encore session.

ALL MEMBERS of TEAM CAHILL please meet in ROOM 404 immediately after school today for a quick meeting.
