The Environmental Club will meet this morning in room 305.  This is our first meeting.  New members are welcomed.  Come on down!

There is a list up in the Main Office of all the Ambassadors working tomorrow for the speaker series.  Reminder that if you are working the morning shift that you need to be dressed and ready to go by 7:00 AM and if you are working the lunch shift you need to be here by 10:45 am.   

Chess intramurals continue this week.  Round 2 competition is scheduled for today, with check in by 2:50 in room 500.

Bocce Club members---we play today at 3:10 and 3:45.  Check the schedules outside of Room 107.  Any drivers with room for younger players, please stop by 107 at 2:45 before you leave.

There will be a meeting in 402 during encore today for anyone still interested in the February Close Up Trip to Washington DC with Cor Jesu. This is your last chance to show interest in the trip. See Mr. Weber for more information or if you cannot attend the meeting.

To all returning players, and anyone interested in trying out this year, there will be a racquetball meeting today during Encore in room 106. If you cannot attend, see Mr Buehrle ASAP.

This is the last reminder to anyone interested in coming to the first LIFE meeting of the year, tonight in the Art Gallery, from 6-8pm. Questions, or if interested and cannot attend, see Mr Kheriaty sometime today.

The Politics Club will meet at Encore in room 500 on Tuesday, October 3.  All are welcome.

As a reminder, Webster University, Bellarmine University and MacMurray College are visiting today. Please be in the Leadership Center at your scheduled time if you signed up.

There will be a meeting for all freshmen interested in trying out for baseball this spring in the Activity Center this morning during Encore.  If you are not able to make the meeting or if you are an upperclassmen who missed the meeting Monday please stop by and see Coach Brown.  All are reminded to fill out your Player Information Sheet from the website.

The swim team travels to Cape on Saturday for the Cape Rock Invitational. Good luck to our swimmers!

This week the football team would like to congratulate Mr. Bishop and Mr. Kennedy for being selected as the football program Teachers of the Week: Mr. Bishop was nominated by Jack Ellis, Henry Bollinger and Ryan Merriweather. They had this to say about Mr. Bishop: Mr. Bishop makes it easy and fun to learn. He is a great teacher and always does what he can to help all his students.  Mr. Kennedy was nominated by Max Franey and Joe Jackson: This is what they had say about Mr. Kennedy: Mr. Kennedy makes math fun and interesting everyday in his class. He is a great teacher and man who loves to connect with his students inside and outside the classroom.  The football program would like to thank Mr. Bishop and Mr. Kennedy for all they do for our students.

REMINDER: Anyone wanting to order LACROSSE apparel from the online store will need to have their orders placed by THURSDAY OCTOBER 5th

There are no student birthdays to celebrate today or tomorrow but on Saturday senior, Jon Mataya, sophomores CJ Cepicky, Will DeRoze, Andrew Hoyt, freshman Nathan Herenrother and sophomores Will Pyatt and Noah Schmitz will be celebrating their birthdays, while on Sunday freshman Roman Graiff and sophomore Robert Fielder will celebrate theirs.  We hope that you all have a great day on your special day.  Those are your final morning announcements of the week.  Make good choices this weekend and Make each day a great day to be a Griffin.
