Griffin Theatre will hold auditions for the first production of this season, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. Auditions will be held tonight and on Thursday, October 3rd. There are 17 male roles available. There will be a special screening of Kenneth Branagh’s film Much Ado About Nothing at 7:00 pm on Sunday evening, September 29, for those who would like to see what the play is about.
Each year, the Annual Catholic Appeal (“ACA”) brings Catholics throughout the Archdiocese of St. Louis together to answer the Gospel call of Christ to serve others. Archbishop Robert J. Carlson and the ACA Council invite all JUNIORS who attend a Catholic High School to participate in the 2013-2014 ACA Essay Scholarship Contest. Essays are due to Mrs. Mitchell no later than Friday. It was a busy weekend for the Vianney cross country team. Saturday they competed in the historic Hancock Invitational at Jefferson Barracks park. Sean Meyer was the top varsity runner while Alex Horn led the JV squad. Almost three quarters of the team hit career best marks. Monday the JV and Freshman ran just down the street at the Kirkwood Blowpop. Colin Thierry led the JV squad while Gage Kramer was top Freshman.
Any students interested in a career in sports management or sports business--join the Rams on Sunday, November 3 to get a behind the scenes look at this industry. In addition to attending the Rams game at noon, participate in a college fair and join a Q and A with Rams front office personnel. The Freshman Soccer Team improved its' record to 8 - 3 on Saturday by defeating Desmet 3 - 0. The goals were scored by Jake Pilla, Tommy Fey and Dennis Vasquez. The shutout was recorded by Connor Grzovic and Tommy Sauer.
