The Government & Politics Club will meet in room 500 after school on Wednesday from 2:50 to 3:45. We will be discussing last week’s debate. All are welcome.

Members of the Government & Politics Club are conducting a voter registration drive on Thursday, October 6 during Encore (in the Commons) and at all lunch shifts. See one of our members to sign up. Any student interested in traveling to Washington, DC for the March for Life Pilgrimage with 1600 teenagers in Saint Louis, please apply through Fr.Tim or Mr. Kheriaty. Applications are due this week.
If you graduated from Holy Cross Academy, or you are just looking for some service hour opportunities, Holy Cross Academy would like ten Vianney students to work Providence Fest this Saturday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Please see Mr. Kheriaty to sign up.
Chess Intramurals continue this week. Practices are scheduled today and Wednesday after school in room 109. Round 3 competition is scheduled for Thursday after school in room 109. New players are welcome.
The Investment Club will meet after school today in room 310. Please arrive with updated portfolios and be prepared to discuss this weeks investments. Reminder to all members that you must attend at least 2 meeting this semester to receive activity points.
The freshman football team won in a team effort over the Jr Bills 14-0. TDS were scored by Issac Hertweck on a long pass from Joe Louis and the big Man Ryan Merriweather punched one in. Ryan Zerwig tacked on a 2 point conversion. The Griffs play their final game of the season next week at CBC.
B Soccer beat Eureka 4-0 in the first game of the Rockwood Tournament. Tommy Geders led the offense with two goals. Dominic Cissi and Zach Poelzl scored the other goals. Marty Thomas and Jacob Sansone each had two assists. Kyle Diffley and Tyler Harris shared the shutout.
