FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7
Anyone interested in playing tennis this spring should attend a meeting with Coach Borst on Monday, October 10 at 3:00 in the Commons.
The Griffin Swimmers took 6th place in the Rockwood Summit Invitational last night. Paul Hoffman, Sam Biffignani, Logan Schafer and Adam Bockskopf all scored in several consolation heat events, while the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay of Hoffman, Biffignani, Drew Sandweg and Jake Gauvain both medaled. Jake Gauvain was the only individual medalist taking 7th in the 50 Free and becoming only the second Griffin swimmer ever to capture first place in a championship or invitational meet when he won the 500 Free and qualified for the MO State meet at the same time. This is Jake's third qualifying event. The team swims against SLUH on Tuesday at Forest Park Comm. College.
