Please be sure you leave the building as soon as possible after our dismissal at 11:32 today to allow for the Academic Decathlon participants to arrive.

If you have not received your school pictures by mail at home, you can pick them up in the office before or after school or during Encore.

Juniors and Seniors:. Registration for all Junior and Senior RETREATS needs to be completed by Friday, October 12th. The links for registration can be found on the Retreat Program page under the Faith Formation section of Vianney's website. If you have any questions please visit Mr. Remiger in the Campus Ministry office.

The last day to register to vote in this year's election is TOMORROW. See Mr. Matreci to register.

Seniors: If you have gift cards for the trivia night from your parents, please bring them to Mr. Matreci in the Office.

ALL LACROSSE PLAYERS and those interested in lacrosse: There will be a PARENT/PLAYER meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the Griffin Café. This meeting is for interested players Freshmen through Seniors. Questions? See Coach Stein.

REMINDER- Freshman please get your $25 donation for the Student Sponsored Scholarship "Griffins for Griffins" into Ms. Walsh by Oct. 19! First LINK group with 100% participation will get a "Black and Gold Day".

If you are interested in being a part of the wrestling team this year there will be an informational meeting today in the Activity Center during Encore.

Pro Life Club Mtg: All members of the Pro Life Club will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 9th at Encore in chapel. Please plan on attending as we plan for our next two activities during the month of October, which is "Respect for Life" month.

Both the Varsity and JV Griffin harriers made the most of their front runners and finished in third place in the MCC cross country championships ahead of CBC and Chaminade and inched closer to perrenial power Desmet. Eddie Albarran led the varsity with Jimmy Broyles and Sean Meyer also medaling. Drake Cantu took the only JV medal and Joey Nelson and Jack Eisenbarger medaled for the 4th place freshman.

The swimmers and divers are back in action today as they take on MCC rival SLUH in a dual meet at Forest Park Community College Pool. The Griffins are going for a REPEAT of last season's victory over the Baby Bills. The meet begins at 4pm.

The Freshman Soccer Team opened the CBC Tournament with a win against CBC 1-0 on Saturday. Jack Dehner scored the goal and Tom Marshall recorded the shutout.
