Seniors--we need some volunteers to work at the Trivia Night on Saturday, October 14 to sell raffle tickets, etc.  The trivia night benefits your graduation lock-in.  See Mr. Matreci in room 500 to sign up.

Juniors and Seniors - Are you taking the ACT in December?  The prep course for the December ACT starts on October 23.  Average score improvement is 4 points.  See Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information.

There will be a sign up meeting for all sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are interested in trying out for basketball on Tuesday October 10th during Encore in Room PE 5.  Questions...See Coach Walsh

Sam Moore medaled and was named to the 2nd team all conference squad.  Christopher Joseph also medaled in leading the Griffin varsity cross country squad Saturday at the MCC Championships.  Luke Miller and Jake Svezia both medaled for the JV squad.

Ambassadors who are working the Tournament of Champions Tournament today should report to the Main Office at 11:15 AM

The next Griffin LIFE meeting is this Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 in the Art Gallery. The theme for this week’s meeting: “Are you who you say you are?” We will also be planning two service projects. All Griffins are invited to come. Let one of the student leaders know if you plan to come, so we know how much pizza to get.

The Letterman’s Club meeting that was scheduled for last Friday will be held on Tuesday.  If you have a conflict, simply pick up a card to nominate someone for a leadership position.  The meeting will be lightning fast.

Are you a student who loves hoops but, perhaps your on court skills don’t match your love of the game?  Would you consider joining the basketball staff as a student assistant? We would love to have your talents in our program.  See Coach KWalsh for more details.

Have you ever thought about going on the March for Life in Washington, DC? Apply now to go on this great pilgrimage trip. For more information see Father Tim or Mr. Kheriaty. The first downpayment for the Washington DC trip is due tomorrow!!

Students in the pro life club who signed up for the after school cross activity are asked to meet Fr. Tim and Mr. Kheriaty up near the maintenance building after school starting at 11:40 today.

The Vianney Investment Club will meet on Thursday immediately after school in room 310. Members are reminded to bring their portfolio suggestions to the meeting!

Happy belated birthday to junior, Michael Langan and freshman Nick Van Deman!  We missed your birthday on Friday along with Spencer Shively on Saturday and sophomore, Alex Herr and freshman on Sunday.  Today we celebrate freshman Carter Merry and sophomore Liam Llewellyn’s birthday.  We hope that you had or have a great day on your special day!  Those are your Monday morning announcements.  Make it a great day to be a Griffin.
