The Ping Pong Club will play after school today in the Activities Center. All are welcome.

 

Attention juniors and seniors:  The next ACT course starts on November 4.  If you'd like help increasing your score, see Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information.

 

Attention all Freshman: Saturday Morning at 9:00am the Freshman Soccer Team plays at CBC against DeSmet. GET OUT THERE AND SUPPORT! The first 50 students who arrive at the game will receive a STUCO "Vianney Griffins" Wristband. See Ian Estaban at the game for your prize!

 

Zach Layton ran his season and career best time yesterday on one of the area's tougher courses at the Patriot Classic Cross country meet at Jefferson Barracks park.  THis was this team's final tune up before Districts next Saturday.  Hans Mohr led the JV squad for the second race in a row.

 

Any JUNIOR interested completing their Social Service Project in May at any of the Catholic hospitals in St. Louis, including Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital or at St. Louis Children's Hospital are asked to see Ms. Mitchell in room 104 by Encore on Thursday October 22.  There is limited availability at these hospitals for SSP and strict requirements.

 

The swimmers were overmatched by a strong SLUH team 120-60.  The 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays of Jake Gauvain, Nick Alexander, Mitch Gerth and Ben Greene were both winners while Jake Gauvain took 2nd in the 100 Fly and Austin Poulsen took 2nd in the 500 Free. Nick Alexander was the Griffs only individual winner, taking 1st place honors in both the 200 Individual Medley and the 100 Fly.  The swims against 10 other top area teams this Saturday at the Lindbergh Splashing Out Cancer Invitational at 1:00pm."

 

The location for the National College Fair this Sunday at SLU has been changed from the Simon Rec Center to the Chaifitz Center on the SLU campus.  The fair runs from 1-4 pm and is a great way to talk with several college reps all in one location.

 

There will be a sign up meeting for all sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are interested in trying out for basketball on Tuesday October 20 during Encore in room PE5.  Questions see Coach Kevin Walsh in room PE5.

-There will be a sign up meeting for all FRESHMAN interested in trying out for basketball on Thursday October 22 during Encore in room 305.  Questions see Coach Charlie Walsh in room 305.

 

Basketball tryouts start Monday November 2.

Today October 12th representative from Loyola University New Orleans and University of Missouri Kansas City will be here to meet with prospective students. If you are interested in meeting with either of these reps, please sign up using Naviance.
