Concert Band members--you will have BAND class today.  All juniors and seniors report to the Band Room for C period today.

TODAY the swim team takes on SLUH at Forest Park Community College at 4 pm. Good luck to our swimmers!

Tonight is the final MCC game of the year for the soccer team as the Griffins play CBC in a B Team/Varsity double header.  B Team kickoff is at 4:30 & the Varsity is at 6:15.

Attention juniors and seniors:  The next ACT course will begin next Monday, October 22, for students taking the ACT in December.  Students who take the course improve their scores by an average of 4 points. See Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information.

Attention all Griffins!! On Thursday, the Varsity soccer team will be hosting an Orange Dress Down day to raise money for Leukemia Awareness & specifically a Lindbergh senior Will Ohler, who has T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  For a $2 donation, you may dress down in Orange on Thursday and varsity soccer team members will be collecting in the Commons before school.

Jake Galloway came away with the lone medal for the Griffin Cross Country Team yesterday at the TRXC Invitational, but he led his team to a 2nd place overall finish.  Jake, who ran his career best time, was followed closely by freshmen Tim Lumsden and John Wolf. Next up is Districts this Saturday in beautiful downtown Jackson, MO.

Play chess at encore today in room 209.  Chess Team tryouts begin Monday, October 29.  Registration is required. See Mr. Matreci in the leadership center or Mr. Baur in room 209 for details.  Chess Intramurals competition continues this week, and new players are welcome.

ALL NEW and VETERAN Scholar Bowl Team Members: Mandatory meeting during Encore on Thursday in room 302.  We need to finalize the rosters!

There is a ping pong club meeting tomorrow at encore for anyone interested in the Vianney SLUH ping pong tournament.

Reminder that the registration for 40 Days for Life, and for the March for Life are both due this Friday. See Mr. Kheriaty, Mr. Gauvain, or Mr. Becvar with questions.

There will be a Yearbook and Vianney News Network Meeting in the room 205 on Thursday during Encore.

We will celebrate the success of our fall athletic teams at a mass on Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00 a.m. in the Activity Center. All fall student-athletes should plan on attending.

The Freshman Black Soccer Team advanced to the Finals of the CBC Tournament last night with a penalty kick win over John Burroughs.  Dan Powers, Charlie Schmitz, and Luke Higgins converted their kicks and Black Clough came up with a save to secure the win.

Attention Juniors: SSP El Salvador applications are due today.  Please bring your applications to Mr. Becvar’s office by 3:00 pm.  If you have any questions or concerns, please meet with Mr. Becvar after school today.

During Encore today, Campus Ministry will offer a mass in the chapel.  Our celebrant is Fr. Chris Dunlap, Pastor at Christ Prince of Peace. All are welcome!
