Mass today--ALL faculty/staff will please sit with the students at Mass today.
Seniors: Vianney's most prestigious service award, the Archbishop May Service Award, is given to one graduating senior every year. The winner has his name etched on a permanent plaque in the main hallway and leads a prayer at graduation. If you have been a good servant-leader and have excelled in service at Vianney, please nominate yourself for this award. Applications can be obtained from Mr. Wheadon or Mr. Remiger and must be returned to them with an accompanying essay today.
ALL: This week is Vianney Spirit Week in preparation for Homecoming Saturday October 20th. Here is the list of Dress up days sponsored by STUCO.

Friday: Black and Gold Day! Modified attire by class - dress wacky but use the following colors!
Seniors: Wear Black
Juniors: Wear Gold
Sophomores: Wear White

Attention Juniors and Seniors--St. Louis Community College at Meramec is hosting a college fair on Monday, October 22 from 6-7:30 in the Meramec gymnasium. Over 100 college representatives will be present. Students and parents are welcome to attend.

Juniors and Seniors--Don't forget the National College Fair at Saint Louis University this Sunday, October 21. The fair is at the Simon Recreation Center from 12-3. Details of how to preregister are on Vianney's website and on Family Connection or see a counselor for more information.

The Eagle Scout Group will meet in the media center during Encore on Monday. See Bro. Andy for more info.

Tomorrow no one will be allowed park in the first 3 rows closest to the football field. Parking in these 3 rows will be closed all day to faculty and students in order to prepare for the homecoming tailgate later Friday evening. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

We are experiencing some problems with the school calendar on the website. For those using Google Chrome or Safari as a web browser, the calendar displays fine. In Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, however, the calendar appears blank. We are working to get this problem fixed. In the meantime, please use Google Chrome or Safari to view the calendar.

Bocce Reminder: Today is the first day of "open bocce" from 3:30 - 5:00 at the Italia America Bocce Club.

The B-soccer Jr. Griffins took in on the chin at DeSmet Tuesday losing 1-nil. Up next, at home today hosting the Pioneers of Kirkwood.

The Freshman Soccer Team rebounded from their penalty kick loss over the weekend to defeat DeSmet 3-1 on Tuesday. The goals were scored by Zach Dempsey, Shane Bonastia, and Austin Tapella.

Mock Trial will not meet this week.

Any sophomore, junior, or senior who missed the basketball sign up meeting should stop in room 303 today to see Coach Walsh and pick up important information.

All lacrosse players that are trying out for Varsity are reminded to come to ROOM 204 immediately after school for our service project informational meeting.

All freshmen who will be trying out for BASKETBALL: There will be an information sign up meeting on MONDAY October 22nd at ENCORE in the Fieldhouse.

Juniors and seniors: the next ACT prep course starts two weeks from tonight. See Mr. Meyer in the counseling office to sign up.
