The soccer program would like to thank everyone who donated and dressed down to bring Awareness and to fight Leukemia. The varsity soccer team defeated Parkway West 3-0 in last night’s Light the Night for Leukemia game. Steven Bibas scored 2 goals and Ty Valentine got 1.  Noah Hartenstein and Connor Wobbe both had the shutout in goal.

Juniors and seniors your ACT scores are in! If you would like to see your most recent score visit your counselor!

Griffins, one of your brothers is in the hospital! Jake Billhartz is in need of prayer and cheering up. If you’d like to write him a note, please deliver them to Ms. Hoge. She has notes and envelopes if you need one! Jake would greatly appreciate it.

If you missed the Letterman’s Club sign up, please see Mr. C. Walsh in room 305.  We will be electing officers this week.

CHESS INTRAMURALS CONTINUE THIS WEEK.  PRACTICE IS SCHEDULED TODAY AFTER SCHOOL IN ROOM 500. ROUND 5 COMPETITION IS SCHEDULED THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL IN ROOM 500.  CHESS TEAM TRYOUTS BEGIN MONDAY, OCTOBER 30.  REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY. ALL CANDIDATES, INCLUDING THOSE  WHO ARE COMPLETING A FALL SPORT OBLIGATION SHOULD REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

If you are a Junior with leadership skills, you are invited to consider applying to be a Kairos leader in your senior year. You can pick up an application from Fr. Tim or Mr. Remiger. If selected, you will be invited to attend one of the remaining Kairos retreats this year as an observer.

The Politics Club will meet during Encore on Friday in Room 500.

If you are a senior planning to still apply to Missouri State University, please come and see Ms. Olderman to have the opportunity to apply without an application fee.

Any freshman who would like to try out for basketball and missed the sign-up meeting, please stop by Room 305 to see Coach C. Walsh.

B Soccer won 3-0 over Parkway West.  Charlie Burford, Jordan Celeslie, and Matt Piper scored the goals.  John Allen recorded the shutout.

Happy birthday to belated birthday to sophomore, Isaac Hertweg and freshman John Verdu they were inadvertently left off yesterday’s birthday list.  We hope you both had a great day yesterday on your special day.  And happy REAL birthday to senior, John Bauer who we wrongfully wished happy birthday to yesterday.  We hope that you have an even better day today on your REAL birthday.  Those are you Wednesday morning announcements.  Make it a great day to be a Griffin!
