If you are dressed down today you MUST have your student giving shirt on or else you will be sent to Mr. Brown’s office.

Anyone that is interested in playing basketball or wrestling this winter needs to have a completed physical before October 31. Please see Coach Cochran if you have any questions.

The varsity soccer team finished their regular season with a victory on the road vs. Parkway West last night.  Goal scorers were seniors  Zach Ellis and Adam Voorhees with the shutout recorded by the junior goalkeeper combo of TJ Reigner & Connor Wobbe.

The soccer team begins district play next Tuesday @ Eureka @ 4:30 vs. Parkway South

The Griffin Swimmers lost in a tri-meet 110-108-86 to Cape-Notre Dame and MICDS yesterday.  The meet was the Griffs first home meet since the founding of the MCC conference.  The 200 and 400 Free Relays of Jake Gauvain, Sam Biffignani, Drew Sandweg, and Paul Hoffman captured first place.  The meet was the Griffins final regular season meet.  They compete in the MCC JV Meet this Saturday and the MCC Championships next Wednesday and Friday.

Griffin Game Ping Pong tournament action continues today. Check the brackets on Coach Brown’s window facing the Commons.  First matches today are: to 10 all other matches are to 15

All Swimmers should stop by room 107 during Encore to see Coach Alexander.

Varsity Soccer beat Parkway West 1-0. Tommy Geders scored the magnificent goal and Kyle Diffley recorded the shutout.

Hola Amigos! Anyone interested in joining the Spanish Club come to room 406 today at encore so we can play our first outing of the year.


If you signed up to participate in 40 Days for Life on Wednesday, Oct. 26th, you still need to turn in a parent permission form. These are due Monday. Pick one up before you leave today from Fr. Tim and Mr. Kheriaty.

The Prolife Club will meet Tuesday at encore in room 109.

Vianney STUCO is hosting a Pumpkin Carving and design contest for Halloween this year. If you are interested see Mr. Lewis in room 310 by Monday at the end of school. Pumpkins will be judged and prizes awarded for most creative design. Finished pumpkins must be turned in by Friday October 28th.

Freshmen who are going to try out for the freshmen basketball team need to meet this morning in room 305 during Encore.

Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors: If your parents plan on attending the meeting for the 2018 Spain/Italy trip, please bring the bottom portion of your letter or have them email Mrs. Thompson. She will need a headcount to host the meeting. The meeting is Tuesday, October 25 at 6pm.

There will be a mass for all Fall Student-Athlete Mass in the Activity Center on Wednesday, October 26 at 8:00 a.m. All fall athletes should plan on attending.
