Sophomores are reminded that you have your Class meeting during Encore today.  Seniors, your meeting is tomorrow.

Vianney STUCO is hosting a Pumpkin Carving and design contest for Halloween this year. If you are interested see Mr. Lewis in room 310 by the end of the day today. Pumpkins will be judged on creativity and prizes awarded.  

Parent permission forms for 40 Days for Life are due today to Fr. Tim or Mr. Kheriaty.

The Pro-life Club will meet in room 109 tomorrow at encore. Please be there if you are doing 40 Days for Life.

The Ping Pong Club will not meet tomorrow.

A group of Griffin Swimmers competed in the MCC JV Meet on Saturday.  Highlights for the Griffins included a 3rd Place finish by the 200 Medley Relay of Karl Bitzer, Vincent Fedorko, Andrew Chapman and AJ Klutho.  Junior John Baur also took 6th place in the 100 Backstroke.  All totaled, the Griffs set eleven personal-best times in the meet. Best times were set by Klutho, Baur, Bitzer, Fedorko, Freshman John Echele, and Senior Peter Zheng.  The Griffins take on their MCC rivals this Wednesday and Friday in the MCC Conference Championships.

There will be a mass for all Fall Student-Athlete Mass in the Activity Center on Wednesday, October 26 at 8:00 a.m. All fall athletes should plan on attending.

The Government & Politics Club will meet at Encore this morning in room 500.

Attention Meatatarians!  The BBQ Club will meet Tuesday morning durring Encore in the Cafe.  We looking for volunteers for Open House and are begining to plan the Turkey Bash.   

Seniors, if you want to qualify for federal financial aid for college, see Mr. Matreci in room 500 to register with Selective Service when you turn 18.  

The next two retreat rosters are posted on the Campus Ministry bulletin boards. If you are a Junior that retreat will be Nov. 8-9; if you are going on the next Kairos retreat that retreat will be Dec. 5-7.

We are collecting any baby items to be donated to Our Lady’s Inn. Just bring them by campus ministry anytime this week during this last week for Respect Life Month.

Would the following students see Fr. Tim sometime today in preparation for the Athletes Mass on Wednesday: Lucas Sturma; Brendan Flynn; Zach Ellis; and Bennett Montgomeery

On Saturday morning B Soccer finished its season with 5-1 win over Desmet.  Reilly Byrne and Kamou Harris each scored two goals.  Brendan Dolan also scored a goal.  Colin Doherty had two assists while Jacob Sansone and Joe Michel each had one assist.  The team finished with an 18-4-2 record.  

If you are a freshman who intends to tryout for basketball and you missed Friday’s sign-up meeting, stop by room 305 and you will be included on our our sign-up list.

Chess Intramurals conclude this week.  Practices are scheduled for today, Tuesday and Wednesday after school in room 109.  Round 6 competition is scheduled for Thursday after school in room 109, with check in by 2:50.  Chess team tryouts begin Monday, October 31 for rookies and Tuesday, November 1 for veterans.  a complete schedule is available in room 109 after school today.

ALL SCHOLAR BOWL participants, I repeat, ALL SCHOLAR BOWL PARTICIPANTS need to meet in room 302 during Encore today for a very brief meeting.
