Today, the swim team competes in the MCC finals at Forest Park Community College at 5 pm. Good luck to our swimmers!

Freshmen- if you are interested in trying out for volleyball in the spring there will be a quick meeting tomorrow at encore in room 308. See Ms. Hoge if you have any questions.

An early overtime goal by Steven Bibas last night sends the Griffins into the District finals by defeating Parkway South 1-0. The Griffs will play Eureka on Thursday night! Kickoff is at 6:00 @ Parkway South

Today is the last chance you have to cheer on the Griffin cross country team, including a big pack of seniors this season as they compete in the Findley Invitational at Jefferson Barracks Park.  Racing begins at 4:30.

If someone says that “abortion is a really complicated issue” -that just means they want to justify it, but it is really hard to justify it. It is not a complicated issue. You shouldn’t kill babies. It is simple. Today is the last day to register for Friday’s 40 Days for Life prayer vigil. The Vianney Prolife Club will meet tomorrow at encore to finalize plans for Friday’s 40 Days for Life. Griffin LIFE meets again tomorrow from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The topic: Dispelling fake news; knowing the real Jesus. All are welcome. Let us know if you are coming so we can get enough pizza.

Congratulations to senior Tionne Harris who has been selected the Letterman’s Club Athlete of the Month.  Tionne’s leadership has guided the Golden Griffins to Friday night’s showdown against Rockwood Summit.  Congratulations Tionne!

Chess intramurals conclude this week.  Practice is scheduled today after school in room 500, and round six competition is scheduled Thursday after school in room 500 with check in at 2:50.  New players are welcome.  Chess team tryouts begin Monday, October 30.  Registration is required.  See Mr. Baur or Mr. Matreci after school in room 500 for registration forms.

Anyone interested in playing TENNIS in the Spring, needs to attend a meeting after school on Monday October 30th in room 205.  Please see Mr. Sargent for more information!
