Chess Intramurals conclude this week.  Practice is scheduled for today after school in room 109. Round 6 competition is scheduled for Thursday after school in room 109, with check in by 2:50. Chess team tryouts begin Monday, October 31 for rookies and Tuesday, November 1 for veterans.  a complete schedule is available in room 109 after school today.

This afternoon the Griffin cross country team will compete for the final time this season in the Jack Findley Invitational.  The races take place on Central Fields and begin at 4:30 pm.  See you there.

Attention all Baseball players involved in offseason conditioning.  Due to the threat of storms this afternoon, the Forest Park Challenge will be rescheduled.  So NO challenge today.

A second half game winning goal by senior Andrew Poelzl from Ryan Puricelli was enough to send the Varsity soccer Team into the District Finals. The Griffs defeated Parkway South last night and will take on Eureka on Thursday at 6:00. Let's get a big crowd out to Eureka to root on the Griffins to a district championship.

Vianney STUCO is hosting a halloween costume contest on Monday October 31st! All students and faculty are encouraged to dress in costume FOR YOUR CHANCE to win prizes from YOUR Student Council.

ALL CURRENT and POTENTIAL LACROSSE PLAYERS please come to ROOM 404 immediately after school today for a quick meeting.

The Vianney Pumpkin contest is going on now! Contestants please turn in your pumpkins FRIDAY for judging! Prizes will be awarded after votes are counted.

Reminder: Our final dress down day for the student giving campaign will be this Friday, October 28th. You MUST wear your student giving campaign t shirt in order to dress down. All students who have participated will be released from class 5 minutes before the start of encore on Friday morning so we can take a group photo in the Field House. Mr. Traina will continue to sit in the cafe during lunch for those students who are still wanting to participate.
