Chess intramurals conclude today with round six competition after school in room 500 with check in at 2:50. Chess team tryouts begin Monday, October 30. Registration is required. See Mr.Matreci at encore or Mr. Baur or Mr. Matreci after school in room 500 for registration forms.
A reminder that the juniors have their class meeting today during Encore in the Fieldhouse. Freshman, you will have your class meeting following the Day of Giving picture tomorrow during Encore.
Freshmen- if you are interested in trying out for volleyball in the spring there will be a quick meeting today at encore in room 308. See Ms. Hoge if you have any questions.
Anyone interested in playing TENNIS in the Spring, needs to attend a meeting after school on Monday October 30th in room 205. Please see Mr. Sargent for more information!

Last night the swim team competed in conference finals. Sam Biffignani took 6th in the IM and 9th in the back. Paul Hoffman took 10th in both the 200 and 100 free. Logan Schafer took 8th in both the IM and the fly. John Baur took 10th in the back. Dylan Nguyen took 10th in the breast. AJ Klutho and Lucas Sturma took 11th and 12th in the 50 free while Andrew Chapman and John Echele took 11th and 12th in the 500. Awesome job to all of our swimmers this year!
Sam Moore led the Griffins cross country team for the final time this season as he finished 5th yesterday in the Findley Invitational. Congratulations to all runners but especially all of the seniors who have meant so much the team.
The Pro-Life Club will meet in room 109 today at encore to finalize tomorrow’s 40 Days for Life prayer vigil. This is mandatory for anyone participating in 40 Days for Life.

Coach Walsh is looking for a few good men to serve as basketball students assistants this year. Fun trips to exotic locales like Poplar Bluff, Cape Girardeau and Columbia MO are some of the benefits. As well, you will get to hang to hang out with Derek Book on a regular basis.
