Tonight, the swim team competes in the MICDS invitational at 5 pm. Tomorrow, they compete in the JV MCCs at Forest Park Community College at noon. Good luck to our swimmers!

One final reminder to anyone that is thinking about trying out for baseball this spring here at Vianney.  Please fill out the Player Questionnaire that can be found on the baseball website.

BBQ Club is looking for a few good men. Volunteers to grill for our guests at Open House on November 4. If you are interested please see Mr. Cerone in the Advancement Office.

Play chess at encore today in room 209.  Round 8 chess intramurals winners were Logan Kammerer, Ben Gansner and Paul Nicholson.  Chess Team tryouts begin Monday. Registration is required. See Mr. Matreci in the leadership center or Mr. Baur ini room 209 for details.

All members of this year’s Sophomore Soccer team are to come to brief meeting in the Chapel with Coach Haddock immediately at the beginning of Encore today.

The varsity soccer team ended their regular season with a 2-1 victory on the road @ Mehlville.  Support the soccer team next week as we host the Class 4, District 6 tournament. The Griffins play Lindbergh next Tuesday @ 6:30pm at The Heeb in district play

Interested in serving others and gaining some service hours along the way? Then join us for World Food Night, on Friday November 2nd at John Burroughs High School, where we will package food for the poor across the world in Tanzania and right here in St. Louis. If interested, please contact Mr. Becvar or PJ Wuennenberg by Tuesday next week. Students will earn 5 service hours for your service.

The following students need to meet with Mr. Becvar in Campus Ministry at 9:35 am today: Will Sinak, Justin Schoenwalder, Gus Clever, Alex Clever, and Jedediah Hovey.

In Bocce action, yesterday, the Vianney A Team of Dom Arras, Ian Esteban, Josh Gerwel, Gabe Rimel, Matt Sabat, Drew Will and Grant Fischer ran their league-leading undefeated record to 6-0 with 2 weeks remaining.  Vianney C knocked the Vianney B out of the ranks of the undefeated, as well.

Finally, happy birthday today to seniors, AJ Biggs & Vlad Naegger along with junior, Nathan Sippel and this weekend to Joe Dasho on Saturday and to Alex Vogleweid and Aaron and Trevor Vance on Sunday.  We hope that you all have a great day on your special day.
