Chess team tryouts begin Monday, October 30.  Registration is required.  See Mr.Matreci at encore or Mr. Baur or or Mr. Matreci after school in room 500 for registration forms.

Anyone interested in playing TENNIS in the Spring, needs to attend a meeting after school on Monday October 30th in room 205.  Please see Mr. Sargent for more information!

Congratulations to the varsity soccer team on winning the Class 4 District 7 Championship last night. The Griffins defeated Eureka 4-0 on two goals by Jacob Swanson and a goal a piece from Steven Bibas and Cam Skaggs. Noah Hartenstein and Connor Wobbe shared the shutout in goal. The Griffs advance to play Chaminade on Halloween next Tuesday at the Heeb. Game time is to be determined. Thanks to all the fans who supported the team this past week and let's get a great crowd next week on Halloween!

Attention Lettermen:  If you were a member of the  Lettermen’s Club last year, you need to renew your membership this year.

Elections for the officers of the Lettermen’s Club will be held today.

Pick up a ballot in room 305 to vote during Encore.  The winner of the election will be announced at the end of the day.  Ballots will be available throughout the day if you cannot make it during Encore.

Have you ever thought about helping to feed the hungry. Are you looking for some service hours. We are looking for 8-12 students to participate the World Food Night in one week on Friday night, Nov. 3rd. Join with over a 1,000 students from local schools and represent Vianney. Sign up in Campus Ministry or through PJ Wuennenberg

Juniors and Seniors who are artists: Portfolio Day this Sunday, 11 AM to 4 PM at Washington University. 30 schools for art represented. See poster in art room.

Today in chapel we will have Eucharistic Adoration starting at 8:am until about 2:pm. Feel free to stop by and visit with your God and pray for everyone going to the prayer vigil for the 40 Days for Life.
