Students! Welcome to Halloween! Today STUCO has a couple of activities for you to participate in during your day! If you want to participate in the costume contest submit a picture of your costume to @vianney_stuco on Twitter, Instagram, or SnapChat. In addition the pumpkins to be voted on are in the main office with an online poll, please do so by the end of the day! Lastly there are 5 MONSTER pictures throughout the school, if you find one turn it in to Mr. Lewis for your prize! Thanks for participating!

Griffin Game Governors are reminded to get a team picture of all those members of your team who are in costume.  Please have this picture taken outside the Griffin Gear store during Encore.  The commissioner will be awarding bonus points for extra special costumes.

The Griffins Swimmers posted 12 new individual and team personal-record times.  Jake Gauvain took 1st in the 100 Fly--making him only the second Griffin swimmer to ever win am MCC championship.  Jake also finished 4th in the 200 Free.  He will swim both events at State this weekend.  Sam Biffignani took 7th in the 50 Free and Sam and Paul Hoffman took 8th and 9th respectively in the 100 Free.  Logan Schafer and Andrew Chapman took 9th and 11th in the 500 Free.  The 200 Free Relay of Jake Gauvain, Sam Biffignani, Paul Hoffman and Freshman John Echele medaled in 3rd place.  Congratulations to all the Griffin Swimmers on an outstanding season.

The Government & Politics Club will meet in room 500 during Encore this morning.

The BBQ Club is looking for a few good men who are willing to grill at Open House.  If you have the skills sign up outside the Advancement Office or see Mr. Cerone.  

Attention Juniors:  If you spoke with Mrs. Mitchell about doing your SSP at an area hospital, there is a mandatory meeting TODAY DURING ENCORE in room 104.  Check your Vianney email for more information.

All students who are going on the Italy and Greece trip THIS SUMMER with Mr. Lewis and Ms. White you have your first mandatory meeting THIS THURSDAY after school in room 310. You must attend to learn about next steps for this exciting trip! See Mr. Lewis for questions.

Chess Intramurals competition concluded last Thursday, with Gage Kramer the top Senior, Zach Bullerdick the top Junior, Matt Sabat the top Sophomore and Evan Lovera the top Freshman.  Chess team tryouts begin today for Freshmen and other rookies with practice after school in room 109.  Chess team tryouts for veterans begin Tuesday after school in room 109.   New players are welcome.

All Eucharistic ministers for tomorrows Mass and other students assisting should see Fr. Tim for your schedules sometime today.

Rumor has it that there is a Cub fan in the building … his prayers were heard! Be kind to God’s ambassador
