Griffin Theatre is looking for good men to act as ushers for next week's performances of Much Ado About Nothing. Come see the show--about gossip, honor, shame, court politics and love--without paying, get activity points and get in on the fun! See Mrs. Fullenkamp in room 408 to get your name on the usher list!

 

Time Change----Art Club now starts at 2:40pm after school each day and during A, B, and C encores.  Everyone is welcome!

 

Attention juniors and seniors: the next ACT course starts tonight at 6:00.  If you brought in a registration form to sign up today, please turn it in to Mr. Meyer by the end of first period.

 

All Freshman Football Players need to have their equipment and their Messages of Hope turned in to Coach Burke by Thursday (tomorrow).

 

Juniors and Seniors and their parents--Don't forget that this Thursday, November 7 is the Financial Aid information presentation at 7pm in the Media Center.  A representative from Saint Louis University's Financial Aid office will explain the FAFSA and much more.  Mark your calendars!  See you there!

 

Seniors--be sure to check the scholarship section of Family Connection.  Several new scholarships have been added to the list.  $$$$ may be yours.  Act now!

SATURDAY THE VARSITY CHESS TEAM WON THE LINDBERGH TOURNAMENT.  ALEX MOELLERING. DAN OWENSBY, NATHAN MITTENZWEY AND AARON REYNOLDS SCORED FOR THE GRIFFINS.  THE FRESHMAN TEAM PLACED SECOND IN THE FRESHMAN DIVISION.  GAGE KRAMER, MARSHALL HARNEY, RYAN ALLGEYER AND JACOB FARRELL SCORED FOR THE GRIFFINS.

 

The Griffin Swimmers compete in the MCC Championship Meet beginning today.  Swimming prelims and diving are today and Swimming Finals are Friday.  Events begin both days at 4pm at Forest Park CC Pool.

 

In soccer action, it will be Vianney vs Kirkwood Part 3 on Thursday night for the District 5 soccer championship. Goals from Mike Albes, Hayden Sparrow, and Adam Michel led the Griffins in route to a 3-1 victory in District Semifinal action vs Lindbergh last night. Thursdays District Championship will kickoff at 6:00 at Mehlville high school. Support your soccer team in their quest for a district title!
