Vianney Welcomes Future Griffins at Open House

St. John Vianney High School opened its doors to prospective students and families at the annual Open House.  With tons of alumni back to support the school, Student Ambassadors showing off the school and faculty displaying our programs, it was hard not to be impressed by the Griffins.  It takes everyone at the school to make this special day so successful. From the maintenance staff making the campus shine, to the volunteers serving food, the Vianney Family was truly on display.

Families were treated to great displays of all of our academic and co-curricular programs, and got to see many improvements in the facilities. Namely, major classroom upgrades were seen along the tour with brand new walls and windows in each room, along with new carpet and 60" flat screen TVs in each room to enhance student learning. The weight room had also been upgraded with state-of-the-art equipment over the summer, and the Griffins' Cafe was renovated with new floors.

If you were unable to make it to Open House and would like to tour the school, please contact our Director of Admissions, Tom Mulvihill '04, at 314-965-4853 ext. 142 or via email at For all 8th graders, it's not too late to take a shadow visit!
