The Varsity soccer Griffins scored early and often in route to a 9-1 thrashing of the Francis Howell Knights last night in the State Sectionals. In front of goalkeepers Mike Allen & Matt Bokamper, the Griffins scored 3 first half goals and 6 second half goals to earn a birth in the State Elite 8 Quarterfinals. The Quarterfinals and the right to go to State will take place on Saturday vs. the MCC Rival CBC Cadets. The game will be played at CBC and the time is To Be Announced later.

The Count is coming! Griffin Theatre would like to invite you to join us in our presentation of "Count Dracula" next week Thursday through Sunday, November 14-18. If you would like to get free admission, see most of the show and earn some activity points, see Mrs. Fullenkamp in room 408 to get your name on the usher list!

Juniors who are interested in being student leaders for 2013-2014 Kairos retreats need to pick up Student Leader applications from Mr. Remiger in the Campus Ministry office, all applications need to be turned in by Friday.

The Science Honor Society will meet Thursday in room 105 during encore.

Attention seniors--The Fenton Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a scholarship to residents of the 63026 zip code. Award selection is based upon family income and need, GPA, community involvement, ACT and employment history. The Yearbook Club will begin meeting in the 201 computer lab on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. See Mr. Burke for more info.

Attention seniors, juniors and their parents--don't forget the Financial Aid presentation on Thursday at 7pm in the media center. A financial aid expert from SLU will talk about: what is financial aid, what is the process to get it, what does it mean to me. A Q and A will follow if you have specific questions. FEAR NOT FINANCIAL AID!!! See you there!

All senior football players are reminded to turn in their football equipment after school today in the varsity team room. Juniors will turn in equipment tomorrow and sophomore football players will turn their equipment in after school on Friday.

Baby Bottle Program: Let's continue to collect change/money for our "baby bottle" program. Each student is encouraged to raise $5.00 in four weeks. If every student brings in $5.00 that will mean over $3,000 will go towards the purchase of an ultra sound machine. Hold on to your bottles until the Thanksgiving Mass!

ALL: Griffin LIFE will meet tonight from 5:30-7:30. Meet us in the Marianist Lobby.

Mock Trial will meet tomorrow during encore in room 106.
