Nov. 9, 2012 Friday B Day
Holy Trinity Thanksgiving Collection: Beginning Monday and running through November 20, we will be collecting money at all lunch shifts to benefit the food pantry at Holy Trinity parish in Baden. If you are interested in volunteering to collect money at lunch, see Mr. Stevison in the Library for instructions. On Thanksgiving morning (November 22) we need volunteers (families are welcome) to deliver Thanksgiving meals to families served by the food pantry. We begin with 9:00 Mass and deliver the meals between 10:30 and 12:30 that day. Everyone is welcome to join us. Please be generous -- this project helps many people have a holiday meal they might not have had otherwise.
The Count is coming! Griffin Theatre would like to invite you to join us in our presentation of "Count Dracula" next week Thursday through Sunday, November 14-18. If you would like to get free admission, see most of the show and earn some activity points, see Mrs. Fullenkamp in room 408 to get your name on the usher list!
All football players : Juniors will turn in equipment today and sophomore football players will turn their equipment in after school on Friday.
Baby Bottle Program: Let's continue to collect change/money for our "baby bottle" program. Each student is encouraged to raise $5.00 in four weeks. If every student brings in $5.00 that will mean over $3,000 will go towards the purchase of an ultra sound machine. Hold on to your bottles until the Thanksgiving Mass!
There is a required meeting for all members of the Spanish Honor Society on Monday, November 12 during Encore in room 408. Bro. Bill Farrell, who is working in Guatemala, is coming to speak to us. Last spring we sent part of the money from the Bake Sale to support his mission. Anyone who would like to join us is welcome! See Mrs. Fullenkamp for any questions.
Those students who are attending Cardboard Village need to stop by the Campus Ministry office to pick up information and permission forms for the retreat.
