Morning

ALL CURRENT and POTENTIAL LACROSSE PLAYERS: There is a mandatory player meeting for all levels on THURSDAY DECEMBER 5th at 6:30 pm in ROOM 305

You can play chess at encore today in room 209.

Griffin Theatre will hold auditions tonight and Wednesday evening for You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Auditions will be held in Room 503 beginning at 6:30 PM.

Winter Track Conditioning begins this week. Please see Coach Mohr for more information.

JUNIORS:  Social Service Project Info:  Vianney has a very limited number of spots available to us at a handful of area hospitals.  The hospital placements for St. Clare, St. Mary’s, Cardinal Glennon & Children’s Hospitals need to be finalized soon. To volunteer at one of these hospitals, students must complete several specific requirements. If you are interested in doing hospital work, you MUST attend a MANDATORY MEETING with Mrs. Mitchell & Mr. Becvar TOMORROW Tuesday, December 3 at ENCORE in Room 104. If for good reason you are unable to attend you MUST contact Mrs. Mitchell or Mr. Becvar by 2:45 tomorrow.   

The conference room in the leadership center is now office space.  Students may not access this space. Please find an alternative setting.

Afternoon

This is a reminder that math tutoring will be offered after school today in room 208. 

Both locker rooms will close at 3:15 this week to accommodate the teams playing in the varsity basketball tournament.

The varsity basketball team opens their season today vs. Hazelwood Central in round 1 of the Vianney Invitational Tournament.  Game time is at 4:30. Head to Canes, order the Kwalsh special and come back to root on the Griffins!

Attention juniors:  If you want to take the ACT prep course before your ACT in February, the next courses start the day you get back from Christmas break.  There are only a few spots left in the 3:15 course, but there is another course offered at 6:00.

After one day of the Toy Drive, the Sophs filled their buckets with 92 dollars and were only hit with 30 cents. They have a 2000 point lead over the juniors who raised 72 dollars and were only hit with 15 cents. The seniors fall in 3rd place 5500 points behind the Sophomores and The freshman are currently in last as they raised 50 dollars but were pounded with over 20 dollars in change. Bring your cash and your coin tomorrow promises to be a big day!
