After setting a program record for 3 pt field goals made in a game with 13 vs. St. Mary’s on Wednesday, the varsity basketball team made 11 more against Whitfield on Friday in a 75-35 victory.  Gabe Ducey led all scorers with 20 points.

Congrats to Vianney math teacher Craig Kennedy on recently being named General Manager AND coach of the year for his roster construction and sideline strategy in the faculty‘s thrilling victory over the defeated Senior class. Coach Kennedy has led the faculty to back to back Winter Spirit Week championships, and congrats to his mentor, Coach Walsh and the varsity basketball team on picking up their first win of the season in a BIG way with a 75-35 victory over the Whitfield Warriors on Friday in the Vianney Basketball Tournament.  The Trinity Titans were the eventual tournament champions. Staying on basketball, congratulations to our freshman basketball team, who won the Webster Groves Tournament with a 40-32 victory over SLUH on Friday night. David Broughton poured in 23 points, and Kyle Missey had another stand-out defensive effort.
