All 5 members of the Academic World Quest team MUST see Mr. Matreci in the Leadership Center at Encore today.

The Vianney Ping Pong Club was victorious on Friday, winning both first and second place in the tournament against SLUH. Riley Flieg placed second and Jacob Craig took home the championship for the Griffins.

The freshman basketball team won two barn burners over the weekend, coming back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit at DeSmet on Friday and staving off a furious Hazelwood Central charge on Saturday. Tommy Welker recorded 14 points to lead the way on Friday, and Adam Sausele poured in 15 on Saturday morning. Pete Rule scored the game-winning basket in both games.

Attention juniors:  If you are hoping to take the ACT prep course before your ACT in February, Course D is full but there is still space in Course E.  If you would like to be placed on the waitlist for Course D, you can email Mrs. Kheriaty. Please email Mrs. Kheriaty or see Mr. Meyer in the counseling office for more information.

You can play chess today room 209 at encore.

The Media Center will be closed after school today. If you are able, you may make-up tests/quizzes today in room 303 during Encore Time or it will be open again tomorrow.

Saturday the Varsity Chess Team placed second in the Hancock Place Tournament.  Paul Nicholson, Eric Ohlendorf, Brandon Stanfield and Logan Kammerer scored for the Griffins.  The Freshman Chess Team won the Freshman Division of the tournament. Tyson Manley, Ben Gansner, Nick Mazzolo and Nathan Waigand scored for the Griffins.

Griffin Theatre will hold auditions for the winter production of BEDTIME STORIES (as told by our Dad)(who messed them up) tomorrow evening , December 11th, at 7 pm in Room 503. See Mr. Book if you have any questions.
