March for Life trip:  There will be a meeting in the chapel on Friday at Encore  for everyone who has been accepted into the Vianney pilgrimage  to Washington, DC for Pro Life in January. 


Adam Michel and Tanner Cochran need to meet in room 305 after Mass this morning.


ACT Prep Class:  The ACT Prep class will meet  Thursday to be caught up prior to Saturday’s ACT administration.


Any student enrolled in English 450 for the second semester needs to make sure they have a copy of Beowulf purchased and ready for the first day of classes on January 2nd.  They are available in the Gear Store.  Translation by: Seamus Heaney.


Attention seniors interested in Engineering as a career:  The MO Society of Professional Engineers, St. Louis Chapter will award four (4) $1000 scholarships.  A 3.0 GPA is required along with a minimum of a 29 in math and 25 in English on the ACT.  Deadline is January 11, 2014.  See Mrs. Dombek or your counselor in the Leadership Center.


JV and Varsity football pictures can be picked up in Coach Owens room.


St. Mary's University in San Antonio will again be offering the St. Louis Scholars Award.  It is a full tuition scholarship for one student from each of the Marianist high schools in St. Louis.  Requirements include completing the online admissions application by February 1, writing an essay on "How Catholic Education has shaped my life" and submitting 2 letters of recommendation from the high school staff or church/parish leaders.  Selection will be made by April 1.  Please see Ms. Hartz or Mrs. Sodemann if you are interested in applying for this scholarship.


Tech Club tomorrow!  This week we participate in the Hour of Code.  Come make things work!


ALL LACROSSE PLAYERS TRYING OUT for JV and VARSITY this season please come to ROOM 308 at 2:55 for a meeting. 

ALL PROSPECTIVE FRESHMAN LACROSSE PLAYERS:  If you could not attend last night's informational meeting, please see Coach Stein in ROOM 308 today.


Racquetball: JV competed against DeSmet Jesuit yesterday and suffered a tough loss 3-2. Victory was achieved by Soph. Matt Woolbright and Junior Jeff Boelter. The JV team plays again Friday against CBC. 

All players are reminder to turn in their National Tourney registration to 310 soon so planning can begin. 


On Tuesday the wrestling team took on McCluer North, a big pin by freshmen Jim Laaker sealed the freshmen team victory. The stage was set with 9 out of 14 wrestler in the line up the varsity team were down 24 point  Andrew Hoffmann, Cody Sturgill, and Patrick McVey all had big wins but team fell short 42-34.
