Mike Villa Night

Required

We will be celebrating the legacy of Mike Villa ‘64 at our last home soccer match against Marquette High School on Tuesday, October 27. Please join us for a pre-game reception in the Vianney Cafe beginning at 5:00 PM and the varsity game at 6:00 PM.

Mike Villa ‘64 was a standout in soccer, basketball, and baseball as a student at St. John Vianney High School. After a record-setting career at Quincy University, he returned to Vianney to teach and coach for the next 25 years. Coach Villa led Vianney to the Final Four 10 times, bringing home seven state soccer championships. USA Today named Vianney Soccer the National Champion in 1992 after 64 games without a loss from 1991-1993. Coach Villa's players were often recruited by the best college soccer programs in the country.
