Alumni Giving Challenge | June 8-12, 2020

Your Vianney experience helped form you for success. As Marianist founder, Blessed William Joseph Chaminade stated, “New times call for new methods.” Our current learning environment calls for new resources to help Vianney students prepare for college and beyond.

We’re asking for your help to provide the tools that today’s Griffin needs to chart a successful course throughout his life. With this in mind, Vianney has three immediate needs:
1. Technology and software for distance learning applications
2. Professional development for faculty best practices in a virtual classroom setting
3. Tuition assistance for families experiencing significant economic hardships from the COVID-19 pandemic

Please consider a gift to help our students carry on the tradition of success that you helped create. Give to this year’s Alumni Giving Challenge, and let our students know that you’re rooting for their success!

You can donate at our DONATE NOW page or Venmo @VianneyGriffins1960.

ALL alumni events are cancelled through at least June. We keep you and your family in our prayers in the face of COVID-19.

2020 Hall of Fame

Induction into the St. John Vianney High School Hall of Fame is the pinnacle of recognition for a person in the Vianney community. Individuals are recognized for a lifelong commitment to exemplifying the school's motto “Men of Character & Accomplishment.”

Every two years, the Vianney community nominates candidates to be considered for the honor to be included in this exclusive group. Nominations for the 2020 Vianney Hall of Fame class are being accepted through June 30, 2020. Review the Nomination Guidelines and submit the downloadable form via mail or the online form electronically with your supporting documentation.

Alumni Association

If you graduated from Vianney, you are automatically a valued member of the Vianney Alumni Association.

By being an active member of this group, you have the opportunity to give back to a great institution and to network with fellow Griffins.

The Alumni Association hosts an annual golf tournament and a trivia night. Proceeds from these events help provide need-based scholarships for the sons or grandsons of alumni.

Alumni Association officers are elected for two-year terms. Current officers include:

  • President: Joe Rippey '10
  • Vice President: Sean Jones '07
  • Secretary: Scott Reilly '10
  • Treasurer: Justin Dombek '10

Reunions

Every year, Vianney welcomes back 10 classes to celebrate their reunions.

Other reunion classes are invited back for a "Guys' Night at Vianney." These are casual opportunities to revisit memories and rekindle friendships over food and drinks.
