Mr. Mark Buehrle

Hello! I am Mr. Buehrle, and want to welcome you to Hebrew Scriptures/Marianist Education class. I look forward to meeting all of you, students and parents, and hope we can better ourselves through educational success by working together to create/implement an exceptional learning environment.

I will be pushing students to leave their comfort zone to ask questions, make bold statements towards their beliefs, and lead in discussions and prayer each day in class. In return, I ask that we respect each other and our identities, by keeping an open mind when discussing ideas/concepts in the classroom, and better ourselves by understanding that all our individualist talents and abilities DO matter in shaping our society today. I hope you are looking forward to this class as much as I am, and we'll be talking again soon!

Just a quick bio...

I was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, MO. I left Cape and went to college at Oklahoma State University (you'll find out I'm pretty obsessed with the Cowboys!). I spent the past 9 years teaching at an inner city school in Chicago, and loved the city and students. But I wanted to be closer to home, so I now am teaching here!

Below, you can click on the Google Calendar as a reference to the course assignments/quizzes/test dates. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email, as I will be checking it regularly. Thanks, and I'll be seeing some of you in class!
