St. John Vianney High School


Jennie Picha is the Director of Advancement and serves on the school's Leadership Team. Picha joined the Advancement Team at St. John Vianney High School as the Director of Annual Giving after seven years at Ursuline Academy, where she worked as the Event Coordinator and then as the school’s Director of Advancement. During her time at Ursuline she oversaw the Advancement and Admissions Departments, played a key role in the Capital Campaign and served as a member of the school’s Administrative Team. Under her leadership, Ursuline saw a substantial increase in annual fund revenue and parent and alumni participation in their advancement efforts. Picha and her husband, Kevin, have three sons — Kellen, a 2018 Vianney grad, and Luke, a member of Vianney's Class of 2021, and Nate. 

Kelly Mueller serves as the Director of Events at St. John Vianney High School and is a member of the school's Advancement Committee. She is responsible for all aspects of the school's advancement events including the Night of the Griffin auction, Hall of Fame Banquet, President's Reception, and Grandparent's Mass. Kelly is responsible for securing event sponsorships, item donations, volunteers and overseeing event logistics.  She graduated from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. Kelly is married to Tom and they have 2 daughters, Mya and Alex.

Dominick Traina has what he calls his dream job. Having graduated from Vianney in 2009, he is happy to be back working for the Black and the Gold of Vianney. “I’m back home,” he says proudly. Dominick is a Missouri State University graduate with a bachelors degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in marketing. He also has south side roots at St. Gabriel’s Parish. He worked at AT&T for a year and a half before joining Vianney’s Advancement team in December, 2015. In his role as Director of Alumni Relations, Dom cultivates relationships with alumni through face to face meetings, alumni association events, and alumni-specific communications. He organizes class reunion weekends, as well as the Alumni Association Golf Classic, Whiskey Tasting event, Student Giving Campaign and more.

Ellen Hugge serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Advancement Office, working with all members of the Advancement Team to ensure the success of the office. Ellen has more than 10 years experience in non-profit fundraising and grant writing. Prior to this experience, she worked in Sales and Marketing, for May Marchandising, Ikon Office Solutions and KTRS Radio. Ellen has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri. She is married to her husband, Dan, and they have three children: Colin, Caroline and Jane. 

Nate Latsch is the Director of Communications at St. John Vianney High School, handling a wide variety of duties that include managing the school's website, handling the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram social media accounts, producing the Black & Gold Magazine and working to promote the school. Nate arrived at Vianney after 20 years working as a multimedia reporter in the journalism field, including stops at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and FOX Sports Midwest among others. He is a product of The Pennsylvania State University, where he studied journalism and kinesiology. Nate is married to Rose and they have one daughter, Abigail.
