Student Foundation

The Student Foundation is a program for a select group of students who play an important role in aiding the school’s Advancement efforts by promoting the events and positive news regarding students, alumni and faculty at St. John Vianney High School.  

Club Moderators: Mrs. Jennie Picha (jpicha@vianney.com) and Mr. Mike Mantia (mmantia@vianney.com

Eligibility: Second Semester Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors.  A Student Foundation member is a student in good academic standing who exemplifies good character. These students will be well-spoken and a positive representative of Vianney who are committed to providing the best assistance to our constituents. Students will be expected to act professionally, especially in regard to confidentiality.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exemplify a man of character and accomplishment
  • Demonstrate effectiveness and genuine warmth in contacts with others
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team

Season: throughout the school year

Meetings: Meetings are set up to instruct new members on proper procedures and then dates for phone calls will be set up with most occurring between 5:00 - 7:00 pm
