WHO AM I?

My name is Craig Kennedy and I am entering my 5th year as a Griffin after 28 years at Eureka High School.  I am a 1986 graduate of Southwest Missouri State and  I was hired right out of college to teach in Rockwood where I spent my entire professional life pre-Vianney.  At Eureka, I was fortunate to be able to teach across the entire mathematics spectrum with most of my experience coming in Algebra 1, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus.  This year, I will be teaching AP Statistics both semesters in addition to the Introduction courses for both Geometry and Algebra 2 during 1st semester.  2nd semester the Intro classes will be replaced with Honors Analysis.  My experiences as a member of the Vianney family have been personally and professionally rejuvenating and I am honored and humbled to continue to be a part of this unique experience.

In addition to my classroom responsibilities, I have the opportunity to be part of the Griffin basketball program as a varsity assistant to Coach Walsh.

One of the best things to happen to me during my time at EHS was meeting my wife of 27 years, Madeline.  We have been blessed to have two kind, caring sons.  Trey, 22, graduated from Mizzou this this year and is now working toward professional school.  Jake, 19, is a 2017 graduate of Eureka High School and now works at the Schnucks in O'Fallon, MO.

Thank you for welcoming me into your family.

It's a great day to be a Griffin!
