Are you interested in completing your junior Social Service Project while visiting El Salvador? Campus Ministry is offering a trip Monday, May 11–Thursday, May 21, 2020. A group of 10-15 Juniors will travel to San Salvador, El Salvador and complete all 90 service hours required for junior year.
Students will participate in service projects such as playing with children and building new homes/clinics in a rural village of San Salvador. In addition, our group will visit incredible sites such as the University of Central America, Archbishop Oscar Romero’s home and chapel, and a small mountain at La Puerta del Diablo, just to name a few.

Enjoy a few days as a tourist and trek into the central highlands of the Dominican Republic. View mountainous landscapes, alpine pastures, and coffee plantations. Discover how reforestation and ecotourism efforts have significantly helped replenish the land. Once you’re immersed in the local culture, you’ll work together with the small communities to create solutions to their lifestyle of hardship from the conservation, economic, and social challenges they face. Mission Statement: The mission of Team Activities for Special Kids, or TASK, is to enrich the lives of kids with special needs by providing athletic and social opportunities. They’ve never turned away a child because of a disability–they've always been able to adapt the sport to meet the athlete's needs.
